JANUARY 14th Saturday Workshop
‘Making Fairy Shoes’ with ANNETTE EMMS
Build layers of fabric and stitch to form a pair of Fairy Shoes. Machine and Hand Embroidery.
JULY 15th Saturday Workshop
‘Indigo Dyeing’ with BAILY CURTIS 
Lovely Indigo blue. This is your chance to experience the magic of Indigo dyeing and see the colour changing before your eyes.
  
FEBRUARY 25th Saturday Workshop
‘ Making Silk Papers’ with HELEN CRAWFORD
Using silk fibres and other materials, you will learn basic Silk Paper making. Beautiful backgrounds for future embroidery projects.

Weekend Workshop
‘ Surface and Stitch with Print and Dye' with RUTH ISSETT
A two day course using stitch, printing and dyeing repeatedly to build wonderful surfaces, unusual and unexpected results. Simple print techniques are used to give pattern and resist effects which are embellished with stitch.
SEPTEMBER 9th Saturday   2.00 – 5.00pm

APRIL 8th Saturday Workshop
‘ Patterns, Signs and Symbols’ with JAN EVANS
Exploring patterns by creating simple print blocks and printing onto paper and fabric. Layered effects with chiffon and stitch. Suitable for beginners or intermediates.
SEPTEMBER 23rd Saturday Workshop
'Textured Surfaces for Print and Stitch' with ANTHEA MILLER.
Using multi-cultural influence and my collection of textiles from the far east as inspiration, create a variety of coloured and textured surfaces for print, stencilling and decoration.
MAY 13th Saturday  Workshop
' Fabulous Beasts, Birds and Butterflies' with CHRIS LAIRD
Fabulous creatures are machine stitched onto layers of coloured sheers, burnt and beaded to make exotic hangings or to mount and frame.

‘Stitching the Edge' by VALERIE CAMPBELL HARDING

'Rags and Tatters' with VALERIE CAMPBELL HARDING
Working with papers, fabrics and fibres to create wonderful distressed fabrics embellished with machine embroidery to make richly textured surfaces.

‘Old Wall and Painted Halls’ by MAGGIE GREY
10th Saturday Workshop
'Layers of Stitch' with MAGGIE GREY
A workshop which offers a slightly different approach to Embroidery design and stitch. Making backgrounds, exploring various techniques and stitching motifs or patches to apply to our backgrounds.
NOVEMBER 11th Saturday Workshop
'Burning Issues' with MARGARET BEALE
Many samples will be made using a very fine tipped soldering iron to cut, bond, seal, seam, score and make marks on synthetic fabric. Unique surfaces for machine and hand stitching.

Christmas Social Afternoon 2:00 - 5:00 pm
at The Reddings Community Centre.
'Stars and Stories' - an interactive Christmas talk by CHRIS LAIRD.
Whilst Chris talks to us we can make stars/ Kits will be available if you wish to sew.
