'Inspired by Klimt' with 

ANGIE HUGHES
Using inspiration from the work of Klimt you will make a collage with velvet,
transfoils,silk and organza topped with machine embroidery

'Think Outside The Box' with 

LINDA MARIE YOUNG

Make a special box using a wide range of materials, hand sewing and innovative techniques such as applique, cutwork, layering and using a soldering iron

'Create 3 Dimensional Insects' with 

LORNA BATEMAN

Using a variety of stitches and threads, learn how to hand embroider interesting insects and flowers.

'Metal and Wire Play Day' with

You will be introduced to techniques for colouring, texturing and manipulating metal and mesh wires

Learn to use a Thermofax screen for printing onto a variety of fabrics

'Create a Stunning Sheer Landscape' with

INEKE BERLYN

Experiment with a new technique using sheers, tulle, fabrics and Bond A Web to create a transparent window decoration.

June 13th and 14th Weekend Workshop

 'A Surface Less Ordinary' with FRANCES PICKERING

Transform ordinary pieces of material and paper to create rich, organic textured surfaces to stitch and embellish. Unique works of art which can be used to make book covers

'Antiquing Velvet'  with FAY MAXWELL

Fay will be with us again to teach us how to Antique our old velvet.

If you have finished your cushion I am sure she would like to see it so bring it along with you

'Beautiful Bags' with AMANDA HALL

Amanda from Monkey Buttons will be back to show us how to make a work bag for our sewing .

July 11th 

' Brooches and Bracelets' with 

CAROL COLEMAN 

Design and make a brooch or bracelet using fabrics, foam, beads or buttons. Machine embroidery and stitch on soluble film.

December 12th
